Pipe Pushing / SlipLining - Slip-Fast

The Slip-Fast pipe pushing system from the TT Group brings a new dimension to the world of Sliplining. Gone is the labour intensive stop / start operation that is required by pneumatic and hydraulic pipe pushing machines. Gone are metallic gripping jaw shells for different pipe sizes. Gone is the time consuming threading of winch cable when pipe pulling.

The Slip-Fast is a very fast, lightweight and easy to set up pipe pushing system. Setup is aided by the pipe pushing rig being safely positioned against the back face of a preexcavated trench. Adjustment of the two pairs of twin taper drive rollers easily accommodate different sized PE pipe diameters. Height and approach angle of the pipe pushing rig is easily adjusted via retractable legs. The rollers are made from vulcanised rubber to protect the new pipe.

Once the pipe has been gripped by the rollers, no further handling is necessary and the speed of propulsion can be infinitely varied. More than twice as fast as existing hydraulic stop / start pipe pushers and axle mounted pipe pulling winches.Therefore, the subsequent installation cost savings, time, labour, and physical effort, truly make the Slip-Fast sliplining system worthy of its name.
